Cody is born and raised locally in Thunder Bay.

His hockey career started later in life then most when he joined the Thunder Bay Northern Hawks Junior B during the 2017 - 2018 season as Media Manager.

Cody first started with the Fighting Walleye for the 2020 Telco Cup where he was a great asset in the live streaming of the tournament. During the 2021 -2022 season Cody was an important asset to the organization assisting with our Hockey TV live streams, and during our championship matchup he stepped up to the plate in running our LCD screen.

Upon completion of the SIJHL championship he knew where he wanted to be. Cody is joining us permanently as Sales and Marketing coordinator and he is looking forward to using his expertise in sales and marketing to grow our organization.

Cody resides in Thunder Bay with his German Shepherd Sloane, he enjoys spending as much time as possible at camp and getting out hunting as much as possible.

Lifelong resident of Thunder Bay, is proud to head this year’s Fighting Walleyes' Game Day Operations.  He brings to the position his previous Walleye experience selling merchandise, helping out with game day events and happily adds to it this year by becoming the Creative Director for the new styles that are proudly on offer.  Mark’s love of sport encompasses his vast experiences in 5-pin Bowling, many years in Softball, and his never-ending love of fishing.

With over twenty years at Sportop Marketing, Mark not only manages the office, designs the artwork, and excels in sales; but he has overseen and managed such events as the merchandising of the Staal Open, to great success.

Never one to turn down a challenge, Mark welcomes this new venture with enthusiasm, commitment and a drive to meet all who cross his path.  He looks forward to cheering on the team and making this season the best one yet!

Brianna, a Thunder Bay native, brings her passion for community engagement and event planning to the heart of the Kam River Fighting Walleye. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Brianna has a deep rooted connection to the community making her a valuable asset to the team. Brianna is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Commerce with a major in marketing at Lakehead University focusing on the connection between business in sport. What sets Brianna apart is her love for planning events, parties and community partnerships. Her enthusiasm aligns seamlessly with the spirit of the Kam River Fighting Walleye.
