The Fighting Walleye Announce New Website

Thunder Bay, ON | The Kam River Fighting Walleye proud members of the Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL) have launched their new website, it announced today.

The new site marks another step in the team’s efforts to reach new audiences and engage fans across Thunder Bay, the SIJHL and the Canadian Junior Hockey League. The Fighting Walleye is now the seventh league member team and their launch of the website is available for hockey fans who will be provided with original, authentic content.

“The Dorsal Fin Entertainment Group and the Kam River Fighting Walleye are extremely excited to be launching our new destination.  This will allow our fans from the #WalleyeNation to stay up to date with all things Walleye.  I would like thank our director of Media and Communcations, Michael Hughes for the time he put into making this an incredible website,” remarked group president Derek Geddes.

“Our next order will be to launch our season ticket packages and engaging local businesses with the Fighting Walleye brand”.

Experienced hockey writers will provide fans with a unique perspective when it comes to coverage, profiles, and behind-the-scenes reporting.

Sources for content on the new Fighting Walleye site will come from multiple sources and promises to offer some of the most original within the league.

This past couple of months have been a wild ride with the announcement of the team, new coach and commitments of players and the website fits in right along with all of the firsts.

"We are extremely excited to be launching our new site which will help in branding our identity. The work Michael Hughes and our web team have put in to make this happen quickly is tremendous. We have had an exciting couple of months,” stated general manager Kevin McCallum.

“We are continuing our aggressive recruiting and work to bring the best possible junior A product to Thunder Bay”.

In addition to articles on the site the Fighting Walleye will also work on producing local video content and contests for the fans.
