Week 12 Three Stars Named

The Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL) has named it Three Stars for week 12 of regular season play:

FIRST STAR 🌟

BRADY KRENTZ, FORT FRANCES LAKERS
GP: 3 ⋅ G: 5 ⋅ A: 1 ⋅ PTS: 6
In three games this week, Krentz (Thompson, MB) tallied goals in each game, including two multi-goal games. After two goals on Tuesday against Kenora, Krentz contributed three goals in the two-game weekend sweep of Sioux Lookout. Krentz has 31 points on the year, with 15 of them coming during the month of November.

SECOND STAR ⭐️⭐️

DAXTON LANG, KAM RIVER FIGHTING WALLEYE
GP: 2 ⋅ G: 3 ⋅ A: 4 ⋅ PTS: 7
Finding his way on the three stars list for the fourth time, Lang continued a solid month of November adding 7 points this weekend against Kenora. On the month, the White City, SK native scored 10 goals and added 12 assists.

THIRD STAR ⭐️⭐️⭐️

IAN NESS, FORT FRANCES LAKERS
GP: 3 ⋅ G: 3 ⋅ A: 2 ⋅ PTS: 5
Ness (Moorhead, MN) not only scored three goals this past weekend, but they were meaningful. On Friday, Ness scored with 1:38 left in the third to take the lead en route to a 5-4 home victory over Sioux Lookout. After tying the game in the first period of Saturday, Ness once again put the exclamation point on the evening with an OT winner to secure the weekend sweep.
