Thunder Bay, ON | The Kam River Fighting Walley Junior A hockey club is pleased to announce the release of their first evaluation camp in August 2020.
The camp is subject to Hockey Canada's return to play guidelines.
Spots are limited so if you have an interest and have what it takes to become a Fighting Walleye then get your registration sent in. Players can pay by ETransfer (Canadian) or Paypal (American).
Head coach Matt Valley is excited to get this part of the team running.
"The evaluations and selecting our first team gets me pumped up for the season," states Valley. "We have been hard at work recruiting, then the COVID situation hit us and now we are following up with those recruits and working our contacts."
General Manager Kevin McCallum has gone through a start up Junior team before.
"These are tough times for sure, but building a franchise is special, I have been involved in junior hockey for over 20 years and this is the best team and organization that I've seen put together." remarked McCallum.
