Defenseman Caleb Resch Commits to the Fighting Walleye

Thunder Bay, ON | The Kam River Fighting Walleye are pleased to announce the commitment of 2001 born defenseman Caleb Resch.

The Winnipeg, Manitoba product has played the previous two seasons for the Raiders Junior Hockey Club in the MMJHL.

Resch, who stands 6’0” and weighs 185 lbs, has been one of the top blue liners in the league the past two years, and Walleye head coach Matt Valley believes he is ready to take the next step in his hockey career.

“Caleb is a solid two way defender with skills that will bolster our defensive core at both ends of the rink. He’s a mobile and smart defenseman with good size.  Very excited to work with him this upcoming year,” said Valley.

GM Kevin McCallum added, “Caleb is driven to further his hockey career and that is exactly the type of player we want to be a part of this organization. We believe he has a bright future with us here and we can’t wait to see him in action.”
