Thunder Bay, ON | The Kam River Fighting Walleye are pleased to announce the commitment of defenseman Trent Sylvester, from Lakeville, Minnesota.
The 2000-born blueliner played the last two seasons for the Willmar Warhawks of the NA3HL, where he posted 40 points in 90 games.
“We are excited to have Trent join our organization. Having 2 years of Junior experience will be a real asset to our younger guys in the program. His skill set will be a welcomed addition in the league,” said General Manager Kevin McCallum.
Walleye head coach Matt Valley is happy with the addition of a veteran presence on the blue line.
“Trent is a high character athlete who is ready to make the jump to Junior A. I’m very pleased to welcome him to the Walleye family,” Valley said.
